Dr. Hamidou Taffa Abdoulaziz

Hamidou Taffa Abdoul-Azize is an Agricultural Economist, native from Niger Republic. Dr. Hamidou Taffa Abdoul-Azize had an early interest to Agriculture, which determined his choice to undertake his studies in Agronomy after obtaining his Higher education baccalaureate Degree at Saraounia Mangou High School, Dosso, Republic of Niger.
In 2011, Hamidou Taffa Abdoul-Azize obtained his Bachelor Degree in General Agronomy and then in 2014 his Master Degree Es-Sciences with a focus on Sustainable Agriculture and Water Resource Management both at the Higher Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Valery Giscard of Estaing of Faranah in the Republic of Guinea. From 2015 to 2020 Hamidou Taffa conducted his Doctorate Studies and Researches at Akdeniz University, Antalya, Turkey. Hamidou Taffa Abdoul-Azize participated in various activities such as FAO Workshop as a key speaker on Socioeconomic Method for Evaluating Ecosystem services, Erzurum, Turkey, and on Ecosystem Resilience in Ankara, Turkey in 2018.
In 2017 he was an official participant at the first Turkey-Africa Meeting of Ministers of Agriculture and Agribusiness as Representative of Niger delegated by the Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and livestock. Other activities included supervising undergraduate studies and internships at Regional Center AGRHYMET of Niamey and Regional Centre of the National Institute for Agronomic Research of Niamey, Niger Republic. Dr. Hamidou Taffa Abdoul-Azize's interested studies areas include Sustainable Agriculture, Climate Change and Vulnerability, Agricultural Trade Policy, Rural Development Policies, Crisis management, Community Resilience, Projects Management, Public and –Private Projects Feasibility Studies.
Added to his current carrier at Istanbul Gelisim University, Dr. Hamidou Taffa Abdoul-Azize worked at PAN AFRICAN Niger Minerals as a consultant to draft Development Projects for Rural Communities of some municipalities of Agadez in the Niger Republic and recently draft a project related to the implantation of fertilizer manufacturing units in the Niger Republic.
Then, Dr. Hamidou Taffa Abdoul-Azize speaks many languages including English, French, Turkish, and other native languages such as Hausa, Zerma and Madinga.
